Raising goats on our farm is not just a hobby but it has become a job and passion. Each year we add one or two goats to our herd,we now have over 20 carefully selected goats for a good cause.
We’ll talk a little bit about each of them, and why we specifically chose these strains

There are two types of goats: milk and meat.
Milk breeds produce large amounts of milk, and their meats are also good, but no one wants to give up milk.
As for the breeds of meat, they are distinguished by their large weight and good meat, but they give small amounts of milk.

Alpine Goat Breed

The Alps live in the Swiss Alps, a graceful breed that adapts well to rocky areas and extreme temperatures. Alpine goats can produce two gallons of milk per day during childbirth. Milk has a high fat content of up to 3.5%. This milk is used to make butter, ice cream and cheese
Nubian Goat Breed

Big and strong dairy goats weighing about 160 lbs. It first grew up in Englatera in 1920-1930.
The Nubian strain is characterized by the production of milk that has a fat content of 5%. It can produce up to 1.5 gallons of milk daily and throughout the year.
This goat is very special because it weighs a lot and can be used for meat
LaMancha Goat Breed

This breed is of Spanish origin and was first bred in America in Oregon. This goat can be recognized by its short ears.
These goats are very friendly and kind, they range in length from 28 to 30 inches and weigh 155 lbs.
These goats can produce 3 gallons of milk with 4.2% fat.
Toggenburg Goat Breed

It’s a Swiss breed of the oldest goat, known for the first time in the seventeenth century.
It has a straight face, is 26 inches tall and weighs 145 lbs.
Although this goat produces only 3.3% of the fat, it multiplies well and maintains its production regularly, and its strength allows it to breed with the goat breeds that produce meat.
Saanin Goat Breed

It is the largest breed of dairy goat, and can weigh up to 200 pounds and length up to 32 inches.
This variety is known to be very gentle and adaptable to all climates.
This goat produces one gallon of milk per day, which may contain 3% of fat.
The highlight of this goat is that it can be used for meat production as well.
Nigerian Dwarf Goat Breed

From his name it turned out to be an African goat. This breed is very beautiful and friendly. Its size is only 23 inches. This goat produces a gallon of milk per day with 6.1% fat, which is very good.
Sable Goat Breed

This breed has a short fluffy hair and has large ears. It is 32 inches long and weighs 145 lbs. This strain produces 4 gallons of milk with 4% fat
Goats breeds for meat
Spanish Goat Breed

Wooden goats, brush goats, wild goats, long goats, rub goats are all names for this breed of goats, the Spanish breed. This breed was discovered in Spain and became available in the United States in the late 1980s.
This breed is medium in size with short hair and long twisted horns.
The meat of this goat is very good, especially if it has good grazing conditions.
Theise goats can adapt to climate fluctuations and can travel anywhere, and they can breed outside of the breeding season.
Kiko Goat Breed

This breed is newly produced in New Zealand, as it is a mixture of mullet goats, Nubian goats, Sannin and Tugenburg.
This strain is characterized by its adaptation to different climatic conditions, a significant increase in weight and in record time, adult males of Kiko may reach 300 pounds, And also the production of milk and meat in abundance.
All I can say about this strain is that it is excellent for milk and even meat, if it has healthy nutrition and good care, the results will be excellent.
Boer Goat Breed

This breed are one of the best breeds of goats for meat, which Australia relies heavily on as the largest source of goat meat, but its origin moves to Africa.
This breed is disease-resistant, has strong immunity, and adapts to difficult climatic conditions in dry and desert areas.
This goat can weigh up to 340 lbs in a record time of no more than 90 days.
Their meat is delicious , it also can be used for milk production .
Black Bengal Goat Breed

Did you know that this goat is a major source of income for most of residents in Bangladesh?
This breed comes from Bangladesh, and so far you may find more than 30 million goats in this country.
Bangladesh is a poor country whose inhabitants live on raising this type of goat because it produces 15 kilograms of meat and its coat may reach 20 kilograms. It is the most important product for this animal because it does not produce milk well.
These goats can give birth two or three children twice a year and their young grow in record time
